Baffle

Timberix™ Baffle features 25mm to 50mm wide and 25mm to 100mm high baffles, effectively reducing echoes and reverberation. Measuring 600mmW x 2400mmL or 3000mL, these panels are crafted from eco-friendly materials like E1 MDF, FR MDF, and MgO composite. Fire-rated to EN 13501-1 standards, they combine durability, sustainability, and acoustic performance.

Technical Drawing

A technical drawing shows a side view of a rectangular object, 128 units long and 8 units tall, with a wavy top edge. Marked horizontal segments are 16, 16, and 32 units long; vertical is 8 units.

Timberix™ technical drawings support architects and designers with dimensional data, profile configurations, fixing methods, and installation tolerances. The drawings detail groove patterns, panel build-ups, and mounting systems for specification and seamless integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Timberix™ Baffle panels are suspended timber acoustic elements designed to hang vertically from ceilings, creating a three-dimensional sound-absorbing system that reduces reverberation while adding strong architectural character to interior spaces.

By increasing exposed surface area and interrupting sound paths, timber baffles absorb and diffuse sound more effectively than flat surfaces, helping to control echo and background noise in open-plan environments when paired with appropriate acoustic materials.

These acoustic baffles are ideal for offices, atriums, auditoriums, airports, educational facilities, retail spaces, and hospitality interiors, especially in spaces with high ceilings where wall-mounted acoustic treatment is limited.

Yes, Timberix™ Baffle systems can be customized in length, depth, spacing, and layout, and are available in finishes such as real wood veneer, melamine, laminate, or paint, allowing designers to tailor both acoustic performance and visual impact.

Absolutely — Timberix™ Baffle panels are manufactured using eco-friendly, recyclable materials and are designed to work with ISO-tested acoustic substrates, making them suitable for sustainability-driven projects that require effective sound control and distinctive timber design.
