Fluted Flex 30

Timberix™ Fluted Flex 30 panels are designed to enhance interior acoustic performance through precise linear
profiling that diffuses and scatters incident sound waves. Their flexible fluted construction allows seamless
installation on curved or irregular surfaces across different architectural geometries.

These panels are crafted from eco-friendly E1 MDF, FR MDF, Black MDF or MgO composites with PVC, veneer, or paint finishes. Featuring a standard dimension of 600mm x 2400mm and 14mm thickness, the fluted width is 30mm. Certified to EN 13986 and EN 13501-1 standards, these panels demonstrate compliant formaldehyde emission control and verified reaction-to-fire classification performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Timberix™ Fluted Flex 30 panels are architectural timber acoustic panels featuring vertically or horizontally profiled flutes that create a rhythmic linear texture, combining decorative depth with acoustic functionality to enhance both visual impact and sound performance in interior spaces. They allow for seamless installation on curved or irregular surfaces across different architectural geometries.

The fluted surface disrupts and scatters sound reflections, reducing flutter echoes and strong specular reflections. While the fluted panel itself is not absorptive, acoustic performance is enhanced when it is installed as part of a system with a sound-absorbing backing or cavity, allowing sound energy to be dissipated behind the surface and contributing to improved acoustic comfort.

Fluted acoustic panels are widely used on walls and ceilings in offices, hospitality interiors, retail spaces, auditoriums, lobbies, and residential feature areas, especially where designers want controlled acoustics paired with a strong timber design statement.

Yes, Timberix™ Fluted Flex 30 panels can be produced using various core materials such as MDF, fire-rated MDF, or eco-friendly boards, and finished with PVC, veneer, or painted surfaces, allowing flexibility across different interior styles and performance requirements.

Absolutely! Timberix™ Fluted Flex 30 panels are manufactured using eco-friendly, recyclable materials and are designed to work with ISO-tested acoustic substrates, making them suitable for modern, sustainability-focused interior projects that demand both aesthetic quality and acoustic performance.
