Frequently Asked Questions

Timberix™ Slotted panels are engineered timber acoustic panels featuring precision-cut slots on the surface that allow sound waves to pass through and be absorbed by an acoustic backing, helping to reduce reverberation while maintaining a clean, linear timber appearance.

The evenly spaced slots break up sound reflections and guide sound energy into the acoustic substrate behind the panel, which significantly improves sound absorption and echo control compared to solid, non-perforated wood surfaces.

Slotted acoustic panels are ideal for walls and ceilings in offices, auditoriums, lecture halls, libraries, conference rooms, and commercial interiors, especially in spaces that require effective acoustic treatment without sacrificing architectural timber aesthetics.

Yes, Timberix™ Slotted panels are available in various slot widths, spacings, and configurations, and can be finished with options such as real wood veneer, melamine, laminate, or paint, allowing designers to tailor both acoustic performance and visual style.

Absolutely — these panels are produced using eco-friendly, recyclable materials and are designed to work with ISO-tested acoustic substrates, making them suitable for sustainable interior projects that require reliable sound absorption and long-term performance.
