V-Grooved

Timberix™ Wooden V-Grooved panels effectively reduce echoes by trapping and diffracting sound within their surface grooves and perforations. Sound passing through these perforations is absorbed by acoustic substrates like fibreglass or mineral wool, minimizing room reverberation. Smaller grooves excel at reducing high-frequency sounds, while larger grooves are ideal for managing low-frequency noise.

Sound Absorption Coefficient

Timberix™ is tested to ISO 354 Standards, which is the measurement of sound absorption in a reverberation room. The difference in the reverberation times is a measure of the amount of absorption in the room.
